The Working Tools is a cloud-based system… but what on earth is the cloud?

’The Cloud’, in our case at least, refers to an internet-based system without a physical geographical location. The Working Tools is delivered on-demand from a range of servers, meaning its available when you need it.

The beauty of working in this way is that you can access your Lodge’s information anywhere and anytime. Need to look something up in the bar before the Festive Board? Easy, just login on your smartphone. You’ll have secure access to everything you need!

The other big advantage of ‘The Cloud’ is that because your Lodge’s data is not stored in one physical location - so disasters like fire or floods won’t destroy years of Lodge history (and you won’t have to re-do loads of admin!).

In terms of cloud services, you may have heard of others; Netflix, Google Drive, Dropbox, Yahoo Mail…. These are all examples of services that leverage cloud technology.
